Broken glass

HI EVERYBODY-ANY ONE EVER REPLACED A REAR WINDOW IN A 1970, CAN IT BE DONE AT HOME OR DO I NEED TO BRING IT TO A GLASS SHOP. THANKS FOR READING THIS

You can do it yourself. The frame on the pop out window comes apart . I bought my non dated glass from a Corvette vendor for @$75.

2 roll pins and two small screws and the bottom part of the frame can come away . You might have trouble with the sealer that gm used , don't try and force it out or you can bend the frame real easy.

I did mine but didn't use the tape and went urethane instead (as I have no intention of ever having to change it out again)
