Before I moved to CA from MI, I used an Omnibag plastic storage bag with moisture absorbing desiccant packs. Other than that, put it in clean/detailed, full tank of gas, disconnect battery, ensure coolant is sufficient to the anticipated low temps and that’s it. No rodents, mildew, moths or other hostile invaders. Opening up the bag each spring was like Christmas morning. The bag can be reused for years if carefully folded and stored.
