The OEM switch is on the left and new replacement is on the right.
The new switch doesn't have a "blade" at #7 which is probably OK because the connector is empty at this position.
What I'm concerned about is the "blade" on the left side of the new switch. Does anything have to be connected here?
I just don't want to put the dash back together and find out something goes here.
The connection "blade" on the left side of the new switch is for a ground to operate the courtesy lights. I believe your switch has a ground strap (or similar) connected directly to the switch body. Just make sure the switch body has ground somehow--otherwise you won't be able to turn the courtesy lights on by turning the **** all the way counter-clockwise. You may have to add a spade connector to your ground source--I don't know.
I'm pretty sure the missing connection at #7 is for the high beams when they're controlled by the dimmer switch on the steering column. Different wiring for the high beams is used with the foot dimmer switch.
