Default C2 Owner needs a little help

I am a bit of a BUBBA tinker from the C2 dark side. I made a set of valve covers for R66 out of old valve covers I had laying around. I am looking for crossed flag decals to complete the project. I found these that are for a
1968-1977 C3 Corvette Interior Door Latch Handle Emblems Set - Replaces 3863687.

I need them to be 1-3/4” diameter or up to 2” so I can trim them down. I have a old wheel hub that I trimmed down, but need two.
Can someone tell me what the diameter of these door latch assemblies are?

Here is what I am trying to do:

Old M/T valve covers with C2 flare.

Thanks,

Ron

Those are tiny, I've got a set here but I'll guess less than an inch

This is one from the aluminum valvecovers, tip of the flag to tip it's about 1 3/4 so maybe too tight for what you need

That's what I was afraid of. I looked at the ones for the valve covers, but would prefer not to have the circle around the flags. May be what I have to go with.
Thank you Mooser for taking the time to help.

I wanted a C3, but ended up with a C2 at an auction, my wife kept bidding after I said it was too much, I was right.

Thanks again,

Ron

The aluminum wheel centercap emblems are about the same size (flag tip to flag tip) without a circle, I don't have one here in the house but I could measure one tomorrow in the shop if you want

That is exactly the hub center caps that I removed one from, but I can't find just the decal. I really don't want to buy the whole assembly. It is real tough getting the decal off without destroying it. I think the center caps I have came from a 80s Camaro or El Camino. I'll have to use the ones for the valve covers or just keep looking.

Thanks again

You can get just the decal. That's the centers on my 79 and I've replaced one. Keep digging. I got mine from a vendor at Corvettes at Carlise, but let me see if I can find anything because I can't remember where it came from.

Have you considered CENTER CAP (wheel) EMBLEMS? There's about 8 different sizes and varieties.

Found them. They use the word "EMBLEM" but I was searching for "DECAL". Paragon wants $7 each + $11 shipping (ouch). Found another OEM set of 4 for $12.95 and $12 shipping. Sent an email to the vendor to verify it is a set of 4 not each. Free shipping if you spend $30. Looking for a couple more items to tally up to $30. Might buy 3 sets and try to peddle the other two sets or get something for the 68RS.

Thanks to everyone for your help. You guys sure are nice over here.

Ron

You can swing over from the "dark side", anytime.

Thanks Ron....we view C-2's as 2/3rds of a C-3...so we won't hold that against you! LOL!

You should buy a 68...so you can hang out here! THAT is 2/3rds of a '67!

Cheers!
