Since you do not care about originality based upon the usage of a 4175 series Holley, why are you even trying to connect the TCS, transmission controlled solenoid? It's purpose was purely for emissions and the car will run better by connecting the distributor vacuum advance directly to a manifold vacuum source.

Thanks for your response MelWFF but to the contrary I’m a purist at heart. Over the past 10 years I’ve collected most of the big ticket items with correct date code and part numbers from water pump to the bb a/c “ cat killer” pointed fan as I call it, to bring her back to as original as I can. The quadrajet I have is correct numbers but with a cracked body is of no use. So that’s why I have a holly at this time. The tcs is complete and it doesn’t hurt anything but you’re right I don’t need it while the Holly’s on. Anybody know where I can get a “cheap”rebuildable 7041205 or at least an affordable quad to rebuild later?
