Does anyone on this forum live near Rowland Heights CA Donnies Classic Cars on EBAY sold a 1969 Corvette that I bought new and I am trying to find out who he sold it to.
Hey Ralph,
Rowland Heights is about an hour and a half from me. I pass it fairly closely on the way to LA every couple of weeks. I'm sure there is a member closer than I am. Have you contacted them directly to ask if they'd share the info? I'd think putting a current owner together with an original owner would be pretty cool for any car guy or even dealer.
Greg
I did contact Donnie last year and he said he did not remember who he sold it to, the ad on ebay said it was always a California car since new but I bought it new in Boston MA VIN 194379S725981 I still have the original bill of sale
Ralph, Do you happen to still have a pic of the car? If you do, I would start a new thread titled:
"Is This Your '69?"
Strong possibilty it belongs to a member. If not, good possibilty a member has seen it. If no pics left, try a thread with the same title and give a good description of the car with VIN. If it just sold a year ago, I think you'll find it.
Good luck, Greg
Brookline is where my wife/inlaws are from... they left there in the late 80's, although her family still owns some apartment buildings in Boston.
69's are my first love as a 69 was my first Corvette... and I nearly bought a lemans over bright blue 69 L71 coupe prior to buying my LT1.
I love Lemans over Bright Blue - second only to Black over bright blue.
Good luck with your search.
