Default C3

Because this time of the year, is the C3 selling market soft?

I think this is the way it is for all Corvettes, and most sports cars, in general. Anywhere north of the Mason-Dixon line, and new buyers won't be able to enjoy their new toy much, if at all, for the next 3-4 months. My guess is very few people are buying a C3 for reliable winter transportation as their only vehicle. I just bought one, but it is my 3rd car... and I'm in NE Texas, so I can drive it 3-4x a week regardless of the time of year.

However, I think the market for C3s, no matter the condition, is relatively soft anyway... which speaks more to the demand, and lack thereof, for older sports cars nowdays. I drove a couple of restomod 1st-Gen Camaros, and strongly prefer the C3 from looks, performance, etc... but I realize that is subjective. However, those of "us" who like these cars are getting older. Seems as though very few millennials and Gen Z drivers care anything about older classic muscle/sports cars. Certainly, there are exceptions.

I agree that the C3 market is soft overall, regardless of the time of year.

I would add some sellers take them off the market now and store them through winter, so the market has fewer overall cars.

Perhaps informed buyers may have something to do with it.
More difficult cars to work on, compared to an early Camaro or a Tri five.
