Default Body back on frame

Sixteen months 800 hrs the body is back on the frame. The actual act of putting the body on was way easier than I thought and took about 90 minutes with no help.

1Now that's impressive...…..using the electric garage door lift to lower the body...….. …..just kidding!

71....is there any way you can go into a little bit of detail about the method you used to place the body back on the frame? I am about to do the sane thing to my '70 vert. I was going to use the engine lift method again but I am kind of digging what I see in your post the way you used the come-a-longs. Thanks!

Went in the attic and put 2 six foot steal rods across the trusses put vise grip clamps on either side to keep them from moving. Put holes in the drywall. Put 2 feet of heavy chain around the steal. Then attached the 2 come-a-longs. Its not the fastest way but worked very well. Make sure you have the vertical clearance.
