it's likely from the hides the upholster uses. Some hide sections may have a slightly different grain, sofness/hardness/thickness, or scarring/creases. its not an issue if you drive the car alot, once broken in creases and wear will be created anyway.

Driver’s seat with new skins
I did mine this past summer with the 100% leather driver grade seats. They turned out really nice and I’d have to look really hard to find any imperfections in them.
I tried the leather/vinyl covers first and almost immediately tore the first one installing it. If you aren’t experienced at installing seat covers, I recommend the 100% leather ones. They’re more costly up front, but much more robust and forgiving of inexperience and lack of technical knowledge!
