Also check out a product called Killmat (sic) that also is sold on EBAY. It comes in both 80 and 50 mil thickness. I used the 80 mil on my 1980. Easy to use, comes in sheets you trim to fit. I found it cheaper then the major brands and couldn't tell the difference in quality or specs. GIL
How many sheets do you get for that price? It seems that Hushmat at Amazon is about $7- to $10- per sheet. I bought 30 sheets a few years ago, which was enough to do two Corvettes, and then some.
I think a sheet of hushmat is just shy of two square feet (23 x 12 inches or so), so 36 square feet should be 20 pieces. That's a great price if it's real Hushmat (or works the same).
I started out with a 36sq. ft. box which did almost everything. I did end up buying a 18 Sq Ft box to do a couple more things I wanted, like inside my doors. Of the second box I had a lot left over. GIL
I used "FatMat" from Eastwood. Same as other mats but with better price. I also did the bottom side of my storage compartment doors. It didn`t make sense to me to do the rear compartment & wheel wells, and leave the doors un-covered.
