71 Convertible top replacement
Thinking about a new top for my 71 and doing it myself. I’ve watched the old Al Knoch video... doesn’t look too bad. But I DO want to buy the right top. I see prices from about $285 - $450; plus another $75 for an ID number of some sort. This is a very nice car but won’t ever be concours. I just want a nice quality look when I’m finished. But I don’t have a clue which one to buy. Anyone have any thoughts on it?

I spoke to Willcox about this a few months back. They suggested buying from Al Knoch as the best top to purchase, even if doing it yourself. They probably know a few tricks of the trade when installing too so maybe shoot them a question, they are great folks.
