A request re adjustment of seat height in 74. I have a need to raise seats to increase forward viewing area over modified hood. Does anyone have any experience in this area?
Hi Dave, Several years ago I bought a Corvette from a fellow that stood about 5' 4" tall. He had a problem seeing over the hood as well so he cut four pieces of 1" square steel tube into 2" lengths. He drilled a 5/16" hole in the center of each one, then replaced the stock seat bolts with longer ones to make up the difference. A simple fix, very stable and didn't show. Also they were very easy for me to remove once I bought the car. Greg

the problem is the engine mods are causing me to have the hood raised. I am also doing a modest 2.3-3” positive rake. (FITech 550-1050hp injection system now being fed by the twin turbos). Also I am 5’6”😎😂
