I was browsing the Willcox website to take advantage of their year-end special sales and ran into a problem. Unfortunately, they must've closed already for XMAS because there was no answer on their sales line this morning. Therefore I'll try to see if any of you have any info on this:
My '71 has Chevy codes of 976 Mulsanne Blue paint with 412 "Dark Blue" interior Trim. All of the interior colors on the Willcox site use different color codes and names. There is no "Dark Blue" listed for '71. The only blue for '71 is "Royal Blue" with a code of 47. They do have a "Dark Blue" Code 45 listed for '77 and a "Bright Blue" Code 41 for '68-'70. How do those all relate to what is in my '71 car?
Hopefully, they'll be open again on the 26th, but in the mean time I'd appreciate any info on your experiences trying to match interior colors...
they sell corvette america products so maybe you can cross reference
Thanks Nowhere Man,
t seems all the regular vendors use the same color names and/or codes which only show Royal Blue for 1971 even though Chevy called for Dark Blue in '71. Al Knoch Interiors, however, does show the proper color names for 1971.
Any others with experience matching (or at least trying to) interior colors??
