Default Replacing AC hoses. Tip for removing them?

In the process of replacing my rotted AC hoses. Any tips on removing the 1 1/4 end tucked into the fender well?

if your referring to the suction hose thats hooked up on the top of the receiver i removed the fender side grill and took a large crescent wrench an cut the handle off so it fit inside the fender. if you have a short wrench the right size that might be easier to get the nut off than a crescent wrench. hope you have better luck with the new hoses than i did.

I did this last summer.... There is a triangular shaped plate under the car behind the passenger wheel well. You may have to remove the trim to get to some of the bolts. After disconnecting the receiver/dryer, it will come the bottom with line connected.

It's tight, but not too bad.

Edit... here is a link to that thread: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...questions.html

Ok. I got it off. I actually cut the hose to make it a little easier, didn't take much effort. I bought two wide mouth adjustable wrenches from harbor freight. They are narrow and adjust that big and have a short handle. Very straightforward and super easy. One in the engine bay to hold top and the other from inside the grille to spin the fitting off. Wrench item number is 67128.

Did you take the drier off and if so, any tips on that? Looks impossible without taking a bunch of other stuff off.... Thanks for the tips on the hoses too.

Drier is still on the car. Motor is out of the car. I saw that my hoses were rotted so I removed the compressor as well. Makes detailing the engine bay easier to.
