I'm more and more leaning toward changing the interior color of my 71 back to royal blue as it was originally made.
Right now the interior color is light saddle.
The interior was painted before from royal blue to light saddle. I know that because it can be seen underneath some parts were it was painted.

Well I have access to paint shop. My friend has it and he can scan and mix the paint accordingly. That would be a way to go but I don't know how the paint will stick to the parts.
Is the dye that they sell in Corvette specific stores special in any way or is just regular paint mixed to match original colors?

the Corvette America dye is just lacquer that is matched to original colors.
Like any paint project prep is key and cleaning them very well.
