Replaced schrader valve. For the price, I want it fixed.
oh i agree if that didnt fix it..im on month 2 waiting on extensions..id use it and just put foot on it holding down button if it does not compress into frame.
Got the 3" tall Race Ramps in yesterday and the SUV adapters on Saturday. Removed and retaped (teflon) valve assembly on bad air cylinder, pumped it up to 40 psi. Did trial run and everything worked. Small leakage evident on hoses were fitting screwed on. Tightened them up. Put car down.
Bad news: Cylinder still losing air pressure. Went from 39 to 19 psi in 12 hours. Quickjack wants me to spray soapy water on welds. I paid for the two-year warranty. Just send me a new cylinder.

Dude, I'm sorry you're having such problems. I love mine, and (knocking on my wooden head) haven't had but one minor issue since having them. I couldn't plug the lines in, the plugs on the pump were seemingly under pressure. A quick youtube or two, I took the relief valve off the bottom and no more issue.Quickjack needs to get that thing replaced or fixed for you!

Been going back and forth with tech support since Friday (and Friday I was at the races in Daytona). So honestly, response has been pretty quick. Today they had me check for an air leak (soapy bubbles) and then get some pics of the date codes on the cylinder. Since I had to do it after work, by the time I was done, they were gone for the day.
Only other issue was slight hydraulic fluid leakage at two fittings on the long hoses (teflon tape was pink). Got about another 1/16 of a turn on both so will just keep an eye on them. Would be good if Quick Jack assembled the fittings to the hoses for us and pressure tested them.

I did this while assembling my Quickjack shortly after receiving it and have not had a single problem. The stuff can be easily ordered from Amazon, just search for "
