I like the car. It's like a full-size RC model. Would you prefer it to have been crushed, like so many others?

Personal I don't mind these type of conversions ! Frist off we all know how many C3s were produced. So all this dose is thins the herd . As well as a 4x4 vette is driven on day when yours is still in the garage. Sometimes a car is so far gone it may be trashed and someone decided that safe it makes more sense.
any how as said , I maybe partial. ....

Not for everyone, but most people would say that about Corvettes in general.

I think I like the few pics of the less lifted ones better however.

I've seen some very nicely done El Caminos on a 4x4 (maybe K5 Blazer?) chassis. Pretty cool, definitely remarkable however you might feel about it.

The thing that makes me laugh is that after all the hard work to do the conversion it seems like they go up for sale soon after and the owner can't get 10 cents on the dollar for what they have in it.
