So I live in Miami and people don’t tend to be very good drivers. The c3 has a very long distance from the base of the windshield to the front of the car ~6 feet. So if I have to turn at an intersection it is almost impossible at times because there’s a lot of vegetation and buildings. Does anyone know a good way of getting around this problem? I avoid bad places to turn and stick to stoplights.
And getting better at driving won’t fix the problem

With all the new technology out there you might be able to get a back up camera type thing mounted into the side of the front fender / bumper area. When you get to a area you can't see around just flip a switch to turn on the screen . There pretty small, about the size of a quarter.

I actually got a good chuckle of this.
Yep, that's a serious problem. My suggestion is to move out of Miami, or stop driving in alleys.
Sounds like a legitimate question to me. My girlfriend who is 5' 4" had issues seeing out from the drivers seat of my 72 until I tweaked the seating position for her.
Driver mod - seating position
Its Miami so remove ttops or drop the convertible top.
Try other seat positions. I always move my driver seat as far forward as possible. I find that improves my field of vision.
Sit as high as possible in the driver seat on pillows if necessary. Seat maybe bottomed out due to age or use causing you to sit too low in the car. I don't need pillows but my girlfriend needs the boost in height to see out of my 72 whens drives. My driver seat needs new foam and is bottomed out.

Gabe...after I finished laughing....I took your problem a little more seriously.
One trick is to drive around with the headlights on and open.
1. Tells you better appx. where the front of the car is.
2. Makes the car more noticeable.
3. You can open the lights without having them on by pulling the vacuum switch under the dash...also known as the over-ride switch.
I'm sure there are a lot of retired people in Miami. How many Lincoln Towncars or big Cadillacs are still being driven there? Similar long hoods and seating position on those.
If you park next to a modern sedan (who drives those anymore, except for business rentals?), you'll notice that you are basically driving the car from the back seat.
Make yourself more noticable! My wife's 79 is low, black, and invisible. People expect to see tall SUVs with DRLs. So drive with the headlights on, or add LED DRLs to the corner lights.
Or, follow the advice I also give to California members, and move to a better state.
Modify it a bit- should clear the vegetation w/o issues....
Can I just say that this is the coolest non chrome bumper vette i've ever seen. I'd seriously consider picking up a cheap post 72 car to build something like this but keeping the pop up headlights.
I guess I better never move to Miami. I would not know how to deal with driving a small vehicle.
This yellow one is my daily driver and the white one is my occasional weekend cruiser.
ok, I'm done smarting off for now.
I do agree that driving a C3 Vette with the headlights up makes it much easier to tell where the front end is. I've never heard of anyone feeling it was too big. I do know that some of the front ends have gotten damaged by either driving into the back of the car in front or having other people back into them.
