I'm not looking for T3. My car currently has 2 headlights that work with the fiber optic and they are not T3. I bought the car that way.

You need either 4001 or 4002 bulbs. All the older ones (Phillips, Westinghouse, Sylvania, GE, etc.) have the tips in the back that you need. There are a gazillion of them on ebay. I would try flea markets, Craigslist, etc. you should be able to pick them up in the $10-15 range. In fact, I would try Walmart or your local parts store. They are not yet difficult to find, and we Corvette-with-fiberoptics guys are the only ones really looking for those. Those tips are what they used to evacuate the air from the bulbs and then were sealed at that tip. Good luck!

Thanks. I tried all my local auto parts except one.

If you use halogen bulbs they have a greater brightness so they don't need the tip for the fibre optic pickup. T

I have halogens. The ones without the tip do not work. They have a metallic coating inside that does not let light through.

Try Wagner H5001 for 6.99 and H5006 for 10.54. At Amazon, they work fine for me. T
