will a '69 fiber optic headlight harness interchange into a '71?

Aftermarket, Willcox, lists one harness for 69 and a different one for 70-71.

Not sure that the tcs emits light through the fiberoptic system. Pretty sure it doesn’t.

I just redid my 71- the front is the same 68-71.

The rear is supposedly different on a 69 as it says fits 69 only- don't know the differences....

Doesn't make sense as they use the same light housings and license plate light?

For the rear- there's only 3 fiber-optic wires 68-71
There's only left and right outer and license plate for fiber-optics....

Reverse lights are not "monitored"
