Default Another Replacement Part Rant

G'day All,
Well I've had to replace my turn signal switch in my '69, brought on by the stop lights not working. So I buy an AC Delco replacement part that covers all '69-76 non tilt/tele steering columns. The part arrived on Wednesday and gave it to my autosparky and find that they have changed the design of the harmonica plug just a little so that they won't mate up. Now I don't know whether the later models had a revised plug, but they certainly don't fit my '69 - see attached photo. The black one is the original!

Check on the Willcox site and they have detailed instructions on how to change out the turn signal switch/assembly. I believe on my 73 t&t the pins were removed to get it down the steering column. The harmonica connector should mate with the oem one on your car.

You should be able to remove the connector by depressing the hook on each pin and swap over your original, just get the wires back in the same order.

Yes its in Jim Shea's papers to swap out the pins back onto your old plastic piece.
