Hello brother corvette folks.
Hey just a question. Whats everybody using for a battery disconnect in their 78 corvettes that are going for flight Judging? If you have any pictures you can add that would be fantastic. Thanks
I use a knife switch on my 79'. Been using them for years and never had a problem. They make a similar one with a thumb screw, but I've had them make contact because the wire relaxes.
Awesome and thanks for the pictures. These are pictures of both my 69Z28 2 owner
survivor untouched and also my 78 silver anniversary survivor L82 4sp 9k original miles 1 owner
Thanks for the follow up. You know I was using this one in my 1969 Z28 camaro with the original side post battery but because the negative cable was pushing a little to much on this switch, it would have to be unscrewed almost to last thread.

Exactly, that's why I went with the knife blade type.
Beautiful cars!
I've used both styles posted above and for the sake of convenience, go with the knife style. The green **** is a pain to both install and to operate...don't recall how many times I walked away with bruised knuckles! No more with a knife-style disconnect switch. I pick em up for $20.00.
