I'm going to be replacing my calipers..brand new are a bit pricey for me has anyone used refurbish or rebuild if so what would be the way to go its s 76 ...when I bought the car I noticed almost all the bleeders are snapped off it has two bleeders on each caliper...I just want to know who has the best refurbished...
I actually have 4 that I took off of a 78. He wanted wilwoods on his car. These had been replaced not to long ago. They have been sitting for about 3 years now in my shed. He had replaced his originals with these and they are SS sleeved. They were not leaking when I took them off. Don't know if you are interested .If so let me know. They are pricey to ship since they are heavy but I don't need them anymore. I can take a few pictures if need be.
That stripe is very 76 cool...
not sure if originality means anything or your timeframe but if you are capable of swapping rebuilding is pretty straightforward..if what you have is not delco or don’t care i would buy cheapest with longest warranty..
and of course practicing removing broken bleeders..
IF the calipers are working ok and the bleeder screws are the only problem, you might be able to remove the bleeders with a easy out.
I've bought calipers from Lone Star with good results.
