The wife and I each will get a stimulus check at some point. The original thought was put it in savings. As I was mowing the lawn this morning it came to me the purpose of the check is to stimulate the economy. So here is what we are going to do. Order take out from our favorite restaurants. Not every day but probably weekly. Get a couple projects done around the house using local people. And the most fun will be getting some work done on the Vette. The local shop I use can certainly use the business. Whatever is left I am sure Mrs.Smith will find a use for it.
I have already spent mine 4 times over. Ha. But I do like the 1/3 for home, 1/3 for fun and 1/3 for the local economy. Food service people here in Charleston has been decimated and there are lots of options to help those people.

If you're spending your stimulus check on a Corvette....you don't need it. Donate it to those WHO DO.
my plan is...
i have a friend that is a bartender with a 4 month old daughter, i have already given her the money i would have spent at the bar the last couple weeks, so i figure i will give her half of what i get. luckily for me, this doesnt affect my company very much
None for us either.
We work to save our money for times like this, pay a boatload of taxes in the meantime ...then get shafted when others are getting free $$

Same, only I’m not getting shafted. I’m working from home with zero concerns about paying my mortgage, putting food on the table, or wondering what to do if I get sick. Meanwhile many people do have those concerns as their income evaporated in a matter of weeks with no idea when it will end. A ton of people in this country are in serious trouble right now and actually need this money.
If you don’t need it to put food on the table or keep a roof over your head, be thankful, not bitter.
Over 10,000,000 people have filed for unemployment in the past two weeks...perhaps another 6,000,000 this week,
With roughly 150M working people in the USA...we're at 10% unemployment and climbing.
In the town I work in...the avg rent is $1300 mo.
They're not worried about buying Corvette parts... or getting a free undeserved hand-out from the Gov't.
