Quality replacement parts
Finding quality replacement parts is the most frustrating part of repairing/maintaining older Corvettes (and other older vehicles).
Looking for a trans mount, I searched all the major Corvette suppliers and the major retail parts chains but none could tell if their part was made in China.
Finally I went to NAPA, hoping because they are more geared toward professionals that their replacement parts might be better.
In case it's of help for the future, the counter guy said NAPA's Drive Tech product line was their highest quality..
For what it's worth, the Drive Tech boxed part looked very well made. Nothing on the box or lit that said where it was made but it had a tiny stamp SIGMA which has HQ outside Chicago.
