74 l-48 Stingray
Just bought a 1974 l-48 Stingray for $6400. Numbers matching, but oversized cam, pushing about 420hp. All I had to do was fix the carb. Instead, bought an edelbrock 650. Has T-tops, and body is immaculate. 4 speed manual. Insanely fast. Hit 165, and had gas pedal to go. Did I make a good Deal? 64000 original miles

165? Better check the speedo, it's probably broke.

Do tell. How did you get 420 horse out of a 165-180 horse engine?

By smoking the good stuff, then sitting in the car watching the twinkling lights in the sky - and dreaming of starting a troll thread.
