That's why I made special tool #4 but a chunk of square tube works well too

Mooser's tool would be helpful, for sure. I'm actually going to pour a little Evaporust in the hole for the 4 mount and let it sit a couple days, suction it out and hit it with the PB Blaster... let it sit a couple days wait for parts to arrive and throw my impact wrench at it. Next, I'll probably swear profusely and grab a sawzall or grinder, contemplate blowing the whole car up, and quit for the day. After a beer, I'll walk back out there and crank on it until the problem is solved.

I’m replacing the the #4 mount - & also the #1 Mount n my 1976 C-3. I would love to replace the rivets with like original solid aluminum rivets, but in a perfect world that would be done. I’m going to have to use pop rivets, unable to access the back on #1 mounts so unless a better alternative comes along that’s going to be the fix, maybe a little Bubba but that’s the fix. We did replace the frame already & this will be a low buck build. Picked the car up as someone’s failed project for $1500. So up to $3K so far.

just use bolts and nuts. rivets and cage nuts are the quick way to do 450 cars a day when the bodies are floating by you on the assembly line.

About to take on this project myself, Bought the kit during free shipping weekend. I found this video
which seems to be pretty comprehensive on doing it side by side, and planning on following it. I'll try and track my progress/report back.
