Vacuum Tank Installation
OK. My 69 has been in pieces since the late 90s, and I'm finally making progress getting it back together, Thanking the good lord for the factory assembly manual! I'm trying to put the vacuum tank back in inside the left fender. I'm looking for the appropriate bracketry and hardware. I can't seem to find it in the assembly manual. Can someone point me to where it is in the manual, or link me up with a schematic/drawing?

The brackets are already on the tank and gets mounted to the rear of the left front inner wheel well ,you should see 3 sets of 2 holes where it gets mounted

thats the area. its a pain to work up under there. Take off the front drivers side wheel so you can work in the wheel well. If you put a bright light in the wheel well then look at the fender opening all the holes will illuminate and you can see them real easy. The hard part is getting your hands in there to tighten everything up

Sounds good. Ill mess with it today. The wheels are off and the car is on jackstands on a lift. The steering column isnt in yet, nor is the master cylinder. Should be about as easy as it gets.
