warped/rippled bumpers
i am about to start the body work on my 82 and noticed my front and rear bumpers rippled . what do you guys do to get rid of them . is there a flexi filler you can use . cheers kev

Without any photographs, its hard to recommend anything.
The original front nose piece on my 73 has some ripples and are just what happens over the years.
I’m replacing mine with a hard fiberglass replacement when I get the body off.
There are several replacement bumpers on the market constructed from several different materials including the original replacement type.
Check out Elkers, Corvette Central, and Wilcox Corvette to start.
As far as repairing the original?
I have no clue or seen a thread where someone has done a repair.

I was going to try this on my rear bumper, but then I found a rigid fiberglass bumper at a god price so went with that instead.
