Default Wiper blade help

Have a 71 with original wiper arms in great shape. I need the blades to go in these. Many years ago they were really available as refills at your local parts store. Not anymore. Anyone know where to purchase and are they remotely reasonable in price?

Appreciate any help I can get.

I'd like to find refills for my originals too. I purchased 2 wiper blades from Eckler's (P/N 244102) but they sit too high and the wiper door hits the blades when closing, so I put my originals back in.

Ya you guys maybe hunting for a bit for those. Maybe go to some older parts stores and see if they have any old stock in the back hidden on a shelf

how well do the beam style work on the vette's arms ie: a 72?

any good choices from rockauto?

trying to find good wiper blades down here is a nightmare.... last i found were refills to fit the old frames, but had to cut/modify them to fit.

Go to O'Reilly's and ask for Trico 44-160 refills.

Works perfectly on my 69 Coupe and I do drive in the rain sometimes just to see if she will melt!!

Figured I'd order a couple -- can't even get one -- sold out. I wonder how many were sold since you posted this...

Just an updated note, I installed the O'Reilly refill blades into my original wiper arms and they fit perfect and look original and great. I was very surprised. If you can get them I highly recommend them.

They may not be original but the beamless type wipers fit with no problem, work better than any beamed wiper and outlast many refills. I'm partial to Bosch.
