Hi!! Wondering if this tire is too big for the spare well ?
should it be completely inside? Or does it need to stick up like this to hold the well in place so it doesn't drop out/off while driving? I do need a tire in there so it stays up, correct?

You don't need a tire to hold it up. Can't tell from the picture if you are missing the bolt and other hardware in the rear that holds it in place.

Yes, have the two bolts in the front, but without being squeezed against the tire, it looks like it could jump off the one rear bolt, ( just slotted) when the front ones are tightened all the way the bottom still doesn't meet the top, (even with no tire in the well) they bottom out

What size tire is that?
The spare tire tub was really made so the stock tire would fit.
If you are putting a different size there it probably won't fit.
Most of us are running somewhat larger tires than stock, I know my 255-60 R15 will NOT let the tub bolt up.

The one bolt is in the rear and swings to the side.
The two bolts in the front attach to the cross member and the tub does not go all the way up in the front.
Do you have the lock for the rear single bolt?

Oops!!! you are right the single bolt is in the back, no I do not have the lock, I thought that was maybe a option? But is that required ? Is it still available?, I don't think I would ever use the tire, as it says above we all are running Bigger tires than stock (18's ) just wanted to have it there because
