Curious.. Does anyone use one of the 'car bubbles' that are on the market as opposed to a car cover inside the garage? Curious thoughts/reviews from anyone here that utilizes?
One of the customer reviews mentioned a Firebird that developed mold during winter storage. If you are blowing humid air into the bubble to keep it inflated, I think you will still have mold growing. I saw a similar product on Shark Tank. IIRC it was being marketed as protection from minor flooding. If that was the case, there wouldn't be a filtered fan to keep it inflated.
Wish I saw this before you ordered, I got a like new one I had my 25 mile pace car in for sale, $300!
I have 2 more that my 79s spend most of their time in.
I only have them cause I got a bit fanatical early on about storing the vettes, only really use them now cause I got them.
Like mentioned, humidity can occur, often leaving the bottom mat (floor) wet.
Manufacturer doesn't tell you about this.
I have 10 2X4s that I slip under the base mat to create an air gap, greatly reduces any wet floor.
Oh, and after it's inflated open up where the zippers meet about 12" so air flows THROUGH it, not just into it.

Great info, thanks.... I should have checked the for sale section....
I have a Car Capsule that I stored my c5 in for two winters. I didn't use it in the summer at all, so I can't speak to mold. But it did as promised: Kept the car dust free and protected from any mice or bugs that could have lurked in my back garage, despite the low temps.
My 1970 coupe will go in there this winter as well-- though it's a little bigger than necessary. (It does fill a one car stall pretty completely.)
One thing worth emphasizing: though the zippers and material are not super scratch prone, if you are covering the car by yourself, use a sheet or some soft material to cover the area you'll lay the top of the bubble on as you roll it over the car to avoid any minute scratching of your paint. As it inflates, you can decide to reach in and pull it off or leave it for when you deflate for the same reason.
Overall, I was/am very happy with the product quality and utility. Hope you like yours.
