Default Converting to Deluxe interior

Hello all. Maybe a dumb question but is it an easy task to convert my regular door panels into the deluxe style with wood trim and carpet? I have all the parts in decent condition put just wanted to see if it’s a pain to install? Please let me know

Not hard at all, when I bought new door panels I bought the base panels and transferred the deluxe trim

Hardest part is drilling the first hole into the good panel, after that there's no turning back so it's much easier

A couple of things to keep in mind
The replacement door carpet was not very close to the original in size.

We held the new carpet in place and traced where it would cover, then made a cardboard copy of the chrome trim piece and fit it to the door making sure it would cover the carpet piece.
Used that to mark and drill the holes, then trimmed the carpet to match.

you can see the cardboard template in the back there

Same thing for the upper wood grain piece, the "guide" bumps in the repro panel were not even close

And the wood-insert sticker wasn't even close to the right shape

Anyway converting them is fairly easy if you take time and they look good (if that's the style you like)
