How rare is a '74 4-speed?
There were 37,502 Corvettes built in '74.
Only 3,494 came with a stick.
Congrats!

And personally, I'd stay with a split rear bumper.
It makes a '74 unique.....

I don't think 4 speeds were quite that rare. From what I see, 3,494 close ratio 4 speeds were sold. 25,146 automatics were sold. That leaves another 8,862 cars. Those must be wide ratio 4 speeds. Just sayin.

By my count, there were about 11,000 wide-ratio 4-speed vehicles and 3494 close-ratio 4-speed cars out of nearly 39,000 1974 Corvettes. A little more than one-quarter of total production.

Clearly there needs to be a larger Corvette black book for the elderly.
One that allows the user to see the words CLOSE RATIO.....
