That is exactly what I was thinking about doing.. You must have cut the rubber gasket in the cap?
Not sure if the MC lid is symmetrical but....you should be able to not cut the gasket between the reservoirs and just turn the lid to bleed the other reservoir. You have to remove the lid to check the fluid level when your bleeding anyway. Just sayin' . Great setup though.
Well, if you trust the gauge on the Motive tank, I believe it was running 15lb. I start high, then pump it up again after doing a caliper or two.
It doesn't take much to force a good stream out the caliper.
What is lacking on those tanks is a good shut-off valve in the line just in case something goes wrong. Just like a garden tank sprayer, to stop flow, you have to turn the tank handle and release pressure. This is where you should place a towel over the tank so as not to spray your paint job.
