Default Window Alignment

I'm still fighting with my driver side window. No matter what I do the front of the window is too far out. The mechanism has been completely removed and cleaned with all new rollers, etc. The passenger side is perfect and all I had to do when reassembling was put all of the adjustment bolts on their old witness marks.

I'm nearly convinced that there was some sort of impact damage in the past that slightly bent the metal frame (where the top adjustment bolts go) inward causing the front of the window to move outward. I believe this because there is a high spot near the front when I lay a straightedge against the frame. Any suggestions to fix the problem?

Maybe someone pulled the top of the glass outward to unlock the door.
Now the window frame is warped.
Post pictures of the glass at different distances...1 foot/3 feet to help members get a beter idea of the problem.

Shot in dark..maybe tighten cushions and or replace? Maybe tight (outside pressire):on bottom pulls top in? Opposite what you would think?

I can tell you that there are issues with replacing the windows cushions if you did that. I bought some that stated NOS, in unopened package and they still needed some tweaking, due to not matching the original contour.

Also, check the underside of the T-Top for binding. My drivers side window refused to seal against the pillar rubber in the fully up position. I took the top off, laid it on a soft blanket up-side-down on the workbench. Some of the chrome trim had window "rub marks". Some quick grinding with a Dremel stone fixed that. So look there for something amiss.

The cushions are new and I've tried them in every position. Have used the "big suction cups" method to hold the glass in place before tightening adjustment bolts.

That's what I am getting at. The cushions from most vendors are off a little. As you know, there is one bolt that lines up pretty good. There is also a tang that fits into a hole in the door which does NOT line up pretty good. If you still have an old original cushion, compare and note that the overseas tang is holding the glass outwards. I had to grind around that tang to get the cushion in proper position. The new styles are wonky.
