Either one is fine if you don't drive in temps below 40F. If you have a flat tappet cam, be sure there is a high level e.g. 1000 ppm of ZDDP in the oil.

I used the Mobile1 20w50 for the zinc, phosphorus and ZDDP....never had and issue. All my cams look great..I had 3 different flat tapets over 3 years. I kept wanting better. I now have a roller cam and use Mobil1 10w30...

Buy the right oil and you don’t have to add any additive. And the correct oil is available anywhere even wal mart

1981 all original (except timing chain), 110,000 miles 20W50 plus zinc additive.
