^^^^ Thanks Rescue. It's up Provo Canyon at Bridal Vail Falls. Sounds like you know the area. I'm so glad I went thru the cooling system on this car. I feel like I can drive it anywhere now, except for the 4.11s - I may need to switch to a 5 spd over the winter. All the #'s match, but turning 3000 rpm at 60 is 'interesting'.

My 70 454 has 3:36 and runs the same RPM's... When above 20 mph I can count on the RPM's to be half what the speedo reads..... gets tiresome.

A 5 speed will change everything...I put 170 miles on yesterday and it was great..I used to have a handyman business in Salt lake in the summer and ski patroller at Solitude in the winter.. I was there for some of the avalanches and ice falls at bridal falls. I wasn’t involved with the rescues though. We dealt with UDOT canyon forecasters all the time.. I taught skiing at Alta for a while and worked one year in Park City at theThe Canyons.
Spent a lot of years mountain biking and racing up in those canyons and down in Hurricane and Moab. I left in 2014 and went back in 2015, I can’t believe how much it changed in one year. I sold my house in Rose Park for $175k, I gues it’s valued at over $300k now. I blew that one. I would love to drive my vette out and do a bunch of canyon runs and head up to snow basin as well. So much beautiful country out there. If I get to do a road trip I’ll try and look you up.

I would like that! We just need to get rid of this crazy Covid stuff and I'm in.
