Default Fuel tank question

I'm building a pretty custom 75, and currently have the rear clip off. I want to replace the tank, and use this adapter I have to run a Lemans style gas cap. I believe it's designed to fit earlier tanks. The 75s have that goofy square sending unit opening on the top, which wont work with what I have. I need to replace the tank, as it's old and there's no way I'll be able to access it once the clip is installed.

That said, I want to replace it with an earlier tank. Just want to make sure I get the right one.

I took a few pics of what I have, as well as some measurements. Does it sound like this will bolt to an earlier tank?

Lower flange outside diameter = 4.50"
Upper diameter = 5.25"
Fuel inlet center diameter = 3.00"
Bolt holes to tank bolt holes, 9 count, 1.35" bolt to bolt.
Bolt holes to fuel cap, 6 count, 4.50" bolt pattern.

The 74 tank might work for you.

It does, although it has a bunch of ports on it for the Evap system.

The tank for a 69 looks the same, but doesn't have the Evap junk going on. Just trying to confirm it'll work. It certainly looks like it will.
