Default Build sheet

Finally found the build sheet with my 1980, it was back side of gas tank. It is not in good shape, some of it turned to dust, but managed to get about 3/4 off in many pieces. Looks like most of info is there for my car. My question, is there anything that is missing from the piece that turned to dust.

Always cool to find a build sheet brother
I see it's a Z49 optioned car so Canada, huh?
Are you in the Fort St. John area where it was sold new?
I visited there many years ago.... very cold!
Cheers, Greg

The good stuff is in the columns where all the equipment is listed. The missing piece is additional code boxes like those still visible.
Tom Russo's book is worth the money.

Nice find and its in relatively good shape except where it was glued to the tank. Here's a quick summary.
Here's what's nice:
  • All the RPOs (options) are listed and clear
  • The dealer of origin is present.
  • Expected date of production was Nov 21 (11-21)
  • VIN assignment (7149) clearly typed in as expected.
Here's what's missing:
  • The box descriptions have faded
  • The suspension codes are obliterated
  • Some of the mechanical codes are missing
  • Heater hose codes and fan belt codes.
When the reference to codes is used, it means the broadcast codes assigned to parts so factory workers could quickly find and assembly options according to the buildsheet.

Feel good about yours!! Mine is a '70 and found last year while getting painted. While I can make it out at close look it is nowhere near as clear as yours! Congrats on the find.
