Default Coolant change

I have read many threads on this subject, and not sure I am going to attempt removing the two block drain plugs from engine. My 1980 has115,000km on it and have done the Prestone flush then fill with 50/50 mix more a few times. Plugs look like a big pain on the 350 small block.

Not a chance would i take them out..
flush and fill is fine unless it sat without changes for a long time...imo
even dump from radiator and refill more frequently using purified water or pre mix...some say if always hot area..more water than antifreeze like 60/40 as opposed to 50/50...

use the green stuff..i made mistake of the gm dexcool after radiator heayer core fix...was told no go..here

Here's my 80 L48 with 116,000 miles. Both plugs came out, no problem. It probably helped that I had the exhaust out at the time.
