Default T-Top and Windshield Trim

I just did a replacement on my top header for the windshield on my 79 and have the trim clips on and windshield back in. My question since the header was so rusted all the clips had fallen off is, does the t-top trim go in the clips along the windshield trim along the top or does it slip in behind the clips and only the trim go in the clip. I tried looking at the AIM, but its hard to determine the details on this.

The AIM must be wrong then. It seems to show the top support reveal also going in the clip with the small W/s top trim???

Could someone post a pic off the front edge of the S/S top support reveal trim were it interfaces with the clips?

Also to the OP. did you take any pics of the process? Do you have any insight or suggestions for those that may have to do this job?
