Door Panel Backing
Does anyone know a source for a reasonable amount of the backer board used in door panels? Mine is a '79.
It's a water-resistant chipboard that resists bending and keeps the body of the panels nice and flat..
All I'm finding is approximately 1/8" thick (100 point) but I need approximately 1/16" thick (50 point). The thicker stuff can actually be the panel

After spending a couple fruitless hours online I found what [seems] to be a suitable product at the local Hobby Lobby. It's the same thickness and stiffness but likely is not as weather resistant as the original. After cutting I'll apply some good oil-based water sealer
