I was at the show, didn't take pics of anything worth showing, just how various wiring and heater hoses were attached/routed on stock 69 vettes so I could restore my car. I went Thursday and it was pretty hot all day, even so there were more vendors there than I had expected.
All told, I was glad I went...
Nope, that is a 1972 with special paint code and yes, it is a black with black interior convertible. First time I ever saw one. That makes is a rare survivor. Hand selected by Lance Miller himself for the show. PO2 wheel covers too. Original paint too. Who knew?

My Dad drove in from Maine in his C3 this year. Nucedog01 I see your white 82 in the background. Very nice car.
I was one aisle further North and about six spots closer to gate 3 than this picture. Sorry I didn't get a chance to say hello. I need to do a better job of posting from the show next year.

David anything special you remember about the Orange 454?
Yes sir, that 71 Orange was stunning. As I recall they said it had under 28K miles on it. I would like to have seen the engine bay but alas, no such opportunity. Would love to own them all. LOL.

yes it was a stunner. Bloomington benchmark awarded car.
Nucedog, that's my black 79 in your pic. I looked at yours too and it was damn nice looking!
I would to have claimed that Vette, but it wasn’t mine. I chickened out and didn’t drive mine due to the forecast and I the simple fact that I’ve never driven her for 2 hours one way!
I wish I had seen you there. Your car was very sharpe!!!! I would have loved to talk to you about it.

I was probably under the tent with my buddies in the c5's and C6 parked next to me. Dont' be afraid to drive yours 2 hours! If it runs fine around town, chances are you'll be fine. We drove in 4 hours from the Richmond area. Been driving mine for years and never had a problem. It was hot as hell riding up Thursday afternoon, but couldn't have been much nicer riding home yesterday.
