Me too to everything you just said. If you look at the prior post, the OP is walking away from what looks to be a pretty good car. Hopefully he's already seen a lot of cars and understands the market. I know years and years ago, pickings were already pretty slim in my area.

As others have mentioned, for a nearly 50 year old car it doesn't look too bad. I bought one 2 years ago that had also been painted yellow on top of the original Ontario Orange that had some flaws. Local auto paint shop used their electronic gadget and came up with a near perfect paint match. A little patience and proper prep will get those looking acceptable for little cash.

The 72 looks more like Daytona Yellow.... The above valence is closer to Sunflower Yellow.
