Default Air conditioning refrigerant

I replace my compressor and low pressure hose, also accumulator on my 1980 2 summers ago. Flushed the rest of the system, recharged with 134, and pag oil, all new green o rings and 1/2 of dye. Put vacuum on it too. System has been running cool for 2 hot summers so far. The other day I was doing a check with leak detector light and glasses on and seen a little bit of dye on one of the line fittings, nothing wet though. Is this going to be a problem?

It depends on whether that 'green' residue is a remnant of filling the system 2 years ago, or if it is a sign of a small leak at that site. Clean that area off well so that you get no 'green' when you shine the UV light on it. Then run the A/C and watch that area for any signs of leakage.

Yes, that's a good idea, also I will snug up the fitting a bit to. Hard spot to get at , low pressure hose along side of condenser.
