If you use the EBL Flash II from Dynamic EFI, you can tune anything you want with a laptop. Most CF guys run either the 1228746 or 1227747 ECM. You can use other ECM's as well. The only real difference between those two ECM's is that the 1228746 has an IAT input. However, if you run the EBL, they already have that provision if you need it.

I just received it about 2 months ago, I was on their site and it asked somewhere if I wanted a catalog, said yes and a week later I received it.

Well, if you need one, you might call. Ask them if they do in fact have one where it is remand from. If the answer is Cardone, you really don't want it.

I also find this rather funny from ZIP about their 82 chip. I have no idea where they are getting the chips from and the 82 corvette chip has never been fully hacked or we would have been doing chip burns ourselves when DCS was still around. We only did 84 chips since they were fully hacked. So, with that said, what are they really changing on the chip? VE, (Fuel)? I doubt it since it would be for a stock motor with a stock VERY restrictive intake, what would be the need for more fuel? SA (spark), maybe? There really isn't anything else they can do...again since it was never fully hacked. They sure are charging you a lot for that chip though.

I don't need one and I am in Canada and not interested in paying long distance charges.

LOL, me neither. I have been using the EBL Flash II for a number of years and works just fine in my 82. Does it really cost you to dial toll free?

How difficult is it to either repair or replace the leather on steering wheel? Found two really nice 80's one silver with silver interior and blue with tan, both have some small cracks in the leather on wheel. After market have replacements?

Go to any of the corvette restoration company's, they all should have them for your year and color and the prices generally are fairly good.

I was going to say...is Canada telecom really charging for a toll free call. OK, I was also assuming that you were using a smart phone and not a payphone. Doh!
