Default tranny model

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to this forum and also to being a classic 1981 Corvette owner. With the help of this well diverse and knowledgable and experienced forum Im sure this will make my restoration an easier one. Can anyone tell me how Im able to find out the specifications and exact name on the auto. tranny that came with my original 81 vette?

I think the transmission used that year (only) was the TH350c.

hey I really appreciate your help. Im having carburetor problems and the rebuilder needed that info. Thats a sweet pic. You original owner?

I used to eat the Wheaties in the box with him on the cover but I wouldn't eat that old box now.

Hard to know about Valentina other than the certainty that it's high maintenance just like an old Corvette.
