Yes...in a way but not for the reasons you do.

1. I use the quick jack all the way up and LOCKED
2. When all the way up and LOCKED I use two screw type trailer jacks to remove the weight from the rear overhung cantilever rear and most importantly in the front to remove the weight of the engine.
3. The screw jacks are placed under the engine cradle (with a stout 4x4" block and about 300 lbs is on it.
4. In the rear I also use a 4x4" block under the rear bumper 'bar'...the last cross member.
5. This allows the car to sit in natural repose and allows the doors and etc NOT to have any strain on the hinges or latches.

I do like the way Bill has it as it will prevent a sudden drop if the quick jack hydralics fails suddenly.
I have a quick jack too and like it very much.

I don't.
BTW if the Quick Jack is being used as per the instructions, the car is not being held up by hydraulics, the Quick Jack frame is resting on one of the two mechanical stops. You could remove the cylinders and the car wouldn't move.

nor do i..
and the only way you could use stands would be the screw type..which now that im thinking about would like some..
impossible to get jack stands right height without screws when quick jack sits on locks..a set height.

good source for screw stands? I thought aboit hydraulic for third hand but could use with quickjack on components of weight..

op do not use jack stands under quick jack while hydraulics pressurized!!

those jack stand youhave cannot support car as they are not that adjustable to hold weight...maybe as a fail safe fall..

I keep wheel cribs under the tires when using the QuickJack if possible. My wheel cribs are tall enough that if the QuickJack failed, the car would only drop an inch or so. I lower the car onto the wheel cribs when I want the QuickJack out of the way for better accessibility. If I needed to work under the car with the tires off, I would definitely use jack stands somewhere to catch the car in case the QuickJack failed. I just don't trust manufacturers so it's up to me to be as safe as I can be.

I use two stands at the front of the frame to take some of the weight, if I'm going to have it up for any real length of time. I raise the jack all the way and then put the stands under the frame as far ahead as I can and I've got a pair of hardwood wedges that I put it to compensate for the notch heights of the stands and a piece of rubber mudflap material to hopefully protect the paint. Then I lower the jack down onto the bar-stop.
I don't add any other stands unless I'm going to be under there pulling and pushing something heavy. I don't think I've heard of any QJ failures (when use properly, mileage may vary, etc)

I do not use jack stands with my quickjack because when properly used it is mechanically locked in place.

However, if the car will be up on the quickjack for an extended period of time, I will use a pair of jack stands to support the cantilevered weight of the front end.

It is a tricky thread...
you cannot set weight on stands AND allow for the quickjack to mechanically lock for sure..and not on hydraulics...UNLESS you let it rest then as some do put a jack under and shim after , or screw jack, or crib wheel and lower qj
if you try to guess when lowering quickjack it may not lock and or rest on hydraulics.

i also learned the hard way do not use double rubber blocks..if not aligned ( qj parallel as it lifts) well they flung out on me..luckily onthe vette the frame of the jack catches the frame.

if op has jack there loose to catch the qj...maybe ok..
