Can you describe “too noisy” a little better? Is it rattling, buzzing, squealing, whistling? At what speed setting is it exhibiting the noise? Is it louder than the original was? Is the new blower actually new or a known good used unit? Did you test it before you installed it and the noise intensity has changed after it was installed? In short, help us help you. How about some pics of the install?

I would suspect either something inside the assembly hitting it or fan wheel not installed correctly and out of balance.

I’d check for loose blend door or Ill fitting ducting that’s literally behaving like a reed when air flows over or past it. Plug the gaps, tape down any loose parts, tighten any loose hardware. Also, are you sure the rattle is emitting from the blower and or case? Investigate transient noise that may be coming from a component or nearby material that is being stimulated/excited by the airflow. Welcome to the sleuthing side of NVH/Buzz, squeak & rattle reduction engineering.

PS, or you could just install side pipes to drown it out 👍🏻
